Inspired by the 1619 Project created by The New York Times writer Nikole Hannah-Jones, students at the University of Rochester's School of Medicine and Dentistry created a powerful series of posters to bring attention to the lasting impact of racism and bigotry on American medicine. Student and staff creators sit down to talk about their posters and what they hope people take from the histories they highlight. You can see all the posters here. WARNING: Some posters contain images of lynching and racial violence that may be triggering for some viewers. Read the transcript.
